Peter Murrell Reserve, Huntingfield
Sunday 9 August  2020 at 11am
On-lead

Meet at the car park near Coffee Creek, Huntingfield.

Peter Murrell Reserve is a bushland reserve with a network of tracks leading to Howden and Blackmans Bay. It is a good area for anyone liking easy bushwalks to know about.  The area played an important part in the formation of the Kingborough Dog Walking Association in the late 1990s.

Directions:

  • Drive to Mitre 10 Fork in the Road, Huntingfield Avenue, Huntingfield, and keep on driving along Huntingfield Avenue.

  • Just after the Institute of Mine Seismology there's a road track on the left.  Turn down this road and drive to the carpark at the end.

  • Note Kingsgate Circle is the street after the road to the carpark so if you reach Kingsgate Circle, you've come a little too far.

We might go for lunch/coffee after each walk.
