Peter Murrell Reserve, Huntingfield
Sunday 9 August 2020 at 11am
Meet at the car park near Coffee Creek, Huntingfield.
Peter Murrell Reserve is a bushland reserve with a network of tracks leading to Howden and Blackmans Bay. It is a good area for anyone liking easy bushwalks to know about. The area played an important part in the formation of the Kingborough Dog Walking Association in the late 1990s.
Drive to Mitre 10 Fork in the Road, Huntingfield Avenue, Huntingfield, and keep on driving along Huntingfield Avenue.
Just after the Institute of Mine Seismology there's a road track on the left. Turn down this road and drive to the carpark at the end.
Note Kingsgate Circle is the street after the road to the carpark so if you reach Kingsgate Circle, you've come a little too far.
Penna Ponds, Penna

Penna Bonds is an off-lead area with a few paddocks and a beach. Note the far end of the beach is not fenced so dogs can quickly run up the bank to the road.
