The Hobart Dog Walking Association conducts at least two walks per month in the Greater Hobart area for members.

We are a member of Heart Foundation Walking. It is recommended anyone who registers with Hobart Foundation Walking joins the Hobart Dog Walking Association, forwards their email or regularly visits this webpage or our Facebook page.  Our walk program is varied as we like going to different places.

Derwent Valley

Saturday 29 April 2023
11 am

Meet at the bottom of Tywnald Park, New Norfolk, near the footbridge.

The Derwent Valley is a wonderful place to see the autumn leaves. This walk is a mix of off-lead and on-lead and will follow the banks of the Derwent River, through the New Norfolk township to maybe the Agrarian Kitchen kiosk or another cafe for a cuppa, then back to Tynwald Park via the Lachlan River Track, which is off-lead.

 Walk suggestions are always welcome
