Howrah Beach

Off-lead except between 10am – 6pm from 1 December to 1 March, when no dogs are allowed on the beach.

Access:

Carpark in Howrah Road, Howrah.
- At the Eastern end of the beach, next to Sunshine Shopping and Recreation Centre off Howrah Road. (Coming from Bellerive, Howrah Road intersects with Clarence Street, opposite Shoreline Shopping Centre.)
- Walk in from Wentworth Park
- Walk in from Second Bluff

NB. Dogs are NOT allowed on Little Howrah Beach to the left of the boat ramp. Keep dogs off dunes. Use pathways to reach fields behind the beach, where dogs must be kept on lead.

If you fancy a long walk, combine Howrah Beach with a walk on Bellerive Beach.

Facilities:

Dog bag dispensers and bins are located in the carpark off Howrah Road and in Wentworth Park.
Public toilets in Wentworth Park and Little Howrah Beach
