Dog Owner's Handbook
The Kingborough Dog Owner's Handbook is a valuable resource for prospective and current dog owners. It covers choosing a puppy or re-homing a dog, socialisation, training, exercise, enrichment, car travel, understanding your dog and dog body language. It encourages walking and exercising in approved areas, and shows how we can all work together to promote responsible dog ownership.
This handbook is a joint production by KDWA, animal behavioural consultant Dr Katrina Ward and Kingborough Council. It is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when a Council and a community organisation work together to achieve common goals.
