Protect penguins

The Penguin Rehabilitation and Release Centre, at Burnie, is seeking donations to care for orphaned penguins.

Dog attacks are being blamed for killing 42 penguins at Doctors Rocks, in the North West, in August. Ten penguin chicks were rescued from the area, but one has since died. The penguins are being cared for by the Rehabilitation and Release Centre.

Many responsible dog owners were devastated to hear about the loss of little penguin lives.

Donations to car for the orphaned penguins would be appreciated by Penguin Rehab and Release
