Cambridge Off-Lead Dog Park Masterplan - Have your say

Updated: Jan 28, 2021

The Clarence City Council is conducting a community consultation about the Cambridge Off-Lead Dog Park Masterplan.

Tasmanian Dog Walking Association president, Melissa Fraser, presented a deputation to the Clarence City Council Aldermen supporting the proposed state of the art dog park in February 2019. The Council voted unanimously for the park, although at that time the Council was yet to identify a location.

Melissa is also vice-president of the Hobart Dog Walking Association Inc which regularly liaises with the Clarence City Council on behalf of dog walkers and owners, and is a founder and coordinator of SASH (Sighthound Appreciation Society Hobart) and was instrumental in working with the Hobart City Council about the establishment of a fenced dog park in Hobart. Melissa worked closely with the City of Hobart about the development of the John Turnbull Dog Park fenced at Lenah Valley.

Visit the Clarence City Council website to find out more about the Cambridge Off-Lead Dog Park Masterplan.
